Being right on the Quayside in Christchurch, we’re lucky enough to be next to some incredible events throughout the year. From festivals to family carnivals and live music performances. Here are some upcoming events you might be interested in

Christchurch Regatta
Saturday 7th June

Christchurch Regatta is held each year in the summer with one-on-one racing throughout the day, culminating in a series of finals at the end of the afternoon. During the course of the day, in the region of 70 races are usually held on the 1200m course which stretches from the CRC Clubhouse to Christchurch Sailing Club, where competitors turn around two buoys before racing back to CRC.

Cirkulär Festival
Saturday 14th June

A free family friendly event starting at 10am showcasing some of the amazing people, projects and businesses in the area. Expect Community. Music. Talks. Art. Food. Drink. Family.

Christchurch Music Festival
18th – 20th July

The ultimate summer party comes to Christchurch, Dorset, this July 18th-20th. The X Church Music Festival will be welcoming a host of local talent from across Dorset and beyond, with 50+ acts over the weekend. With 3 stages on 3 days at Christchurch Quay.

Stompin’ on the Quomps
Saturday 2nd August

An independent, non-profit annual smooth Jazz Festival held at Christchurch Quay and takes place on Saturday, 2 August 12 noon – 10 pm. Bring your picnic blankets, grab some food & drink from the boathouse takeaway kiosk, and enjoy an amazing afternoon/evening of Jazz and Jive!

Christchurch Carnival
15th – 17th August

The Christchurch Carnival brings a party atmosphere to Christchurch Quay with live music, entertainment, fairground rides, delicious food, bars, and family fun. The event finishes with a summer fireworks finale over the river at 9:30 p.m.

Christchurch River Pageant
16th August

The Christchurch, Boscombe and Southbourne Rotary Clubs are bringing back the traditional river pageant as part of this year’s Christchurch Carnival.
Christchurch Rotary Club is launching an exciting new fundraising event on River Stour from Tuckton Tea Rooms to Christchurch Quay on Saturday 16th
August. The pageant parade will take place from 12 noon and people will be encouraged to view from either side of the river.

Dorset Dinghy Day
Saturday 30th August

We launch at Iford Bridge and drift down the river from 12 noon. You have to be in something inflatable, literally anything inflatable will do! This is a family friendly event. You will be on the river for at least a couple of hours and unless you have a life-size inflatable replica of the Titanic then you are going to get wet.
